A Magical Tradition: Westchester Circus Arts Brings Joy to Camp Oasis

In a world where small acts of kindness can create waves of change, Westchester Circus Arts is setting a new standard with their heartwarming tradition of giving back. This year, they’ve taken their commitment to a whole new level by introducing an annual Pop-Up Circus Show donation to a worthy non-profit organization.

After inviting communities to submit their nominations, Westchester Circus Arts proudly announced their inaugural recipient: Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation‘s Camp Oasis.

What is the Pop-Up Circus Show?

Westchester Circus Arts is renowned for their spectacular performances that blend acrobatics, magic, and whimsical entertainment. Why Camp Oasis?

This year’s chosen recipient, Camp Oasis, is a beacon of hope and joy for children living with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. As Daniel Marinoni, Associate Director of Camp & Community Engagement at Camp Oasis, eloquently puts it:

“At the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation’s Camp Oasis, kids living with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis can just be kids. We provide a safe environment where friendships ignite, confidence soars, and epic adventures become life-long memories. Camp Oasis is FUN without the fear of judgement or feeling different.”

Camp Oasis offers a unique experience for these kids—a chance to engage in activities and form friendships in a supportive, non-judgmental environment. The camp’s mission is to ensure that every child, regardless of their medical condition, can enjoy the full spectrum of childhood experiences.

The Impact of the Pop-Up Circus Show

The Pop-Up Circus Show brought by Westchester Circus Arts to Camp Oasis was more than just a performance; it was a celebration of resilience, joy, and community spirit.

The show was a spectacular success, leaving the children and staff at Camp Oasis with wide smiles and hearts full of memories. Dan Maroni, Daniel Marinoni, Associate Director of Camp & Community Engagement, was quoted after the show saying:

“The circus came and went, and everyone had an amazing time! We can’t thank Westchester Circus Arts enough. We have no idea how we are going to come close to that performance with the rest of our programing, and we suggested ending camp early as a result. Our campers loved every minute, and they tried to take photos with Kyle, Ryan, and Logan and get their autographs.”

A Tradition of Giving Back

The Pop-Up Circus Show tradition is more than just an annual event—it’s a testament to the power of giving and the impact of community support. Westchester Circus Arts has set a high bar for generosity and creativity, proving that when we come together to share our passions, we can create extraordinary moments of joy and connection.

By choosing Camp Oasis for their first donation, Westchester Circus Arts has highlighted the importance of supporting organizations that make a difference in the lives of children facing health challenges. Their initiative not only provides entertainment but also reinforces the message that every child deserves to feel special and included.
